Yes. LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) is the most stable and inherently safe lithium chemistry available. Our cells are certified by UL, FCC, CE, RoHS, and UN38.3 to ensure premium quality. Each battery features an integrated Smart BMS (Battery Management System) that provides 5-layer protection: guarding against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short-circuits, and extreme temperatures to ensure system safety.

Not usually. Use a LiFePO4-compatible charger or a charger with a LiFePO4 setting. Standard lead-acid chargers may not use the correct CC/CV profile and can overcharge or shorten battery life. For details and recommended settings, see our charging guide: How to Charge LiFePO4 Batteries Correctly.

Regularly discharging to 0% is not recommended. While LiFePO4 tolerates deep discharge better than lead-acid, frequent 100% DOD shortens life. For longevity aim to recharge before the battery drops below 20% SOC.

A 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 is a common recommendation for many trolling motors and small/medium setups. To estimate runtime:
Run time (hours) ≈ Battery Ah ÷ Motor current (A).
Example: a 100Ah battery powering a 30A motor ≈ ~3.3 hours (theoretical). For heavy use or higher-power motors, consider 200Ah or multiple batteries in parallel. Always check motor current draw and allow a safety margin.
